Cottage Dog House

Now that my dogs have a fenced in back yard to play in every day they need a dog house. This house ended up being 4’x4’ square and stands 52” at the peak. It’s rather large but that’s by design. I have three dogs and they all enjoy it. The construction is 3/4” ply with pine trim. The roof shingles are resawn southern yellow pine.

Now that is a very nice house for your buddys…... A little bigger you have a extra place to stay…. Pipe in some animal planet they be set… Well Done!!!!

Jay, I watched your YouTube video last night on this project. As always, you do a great job telling the story (and I got a chuckle out of the cameo Steve made at the end of the video). Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing your next project post.
