I decided to post this in remembrance of the 8” snowfall we had earlier this week and the ten smashed-up cars I drove past on my way to work Monday AM.

The diameter of the base (purchased from Menards) is 18”. I whittled the snowmen, trees and birds from birch branches. The noses of the snowmen are cut from toothpicks, while the arms are small twigs. The snowmen are attached to the base with 1/8” dowels that go through the log slices behind them. Each post is likewise doweled to the base, and each fence rail is a separate piece of a small branch/twig.

I hope you enjoy my clock more than I enjoyed the early Minnesota snow.

Thanks for looking!
