Otis, what beautiful boxes you have. If all your relatives and friends have one of your boxes, it is time you found an art gallery near you that will handle your work. It is very good work by the way. The idea is to put yourself out there and get some guilt free money to spend on those new tools you have been wanting.

Forget about making it a business or even trying to get an hourly wage for your work. Sell them for something between $125 to $220 dollars each, give the gallery their cut, and buy some tools. Just have fun … unless of course your Boxisum, has morphed into the dreaded Boxumadeum Hoardimust.

When you develop BH, you can’t stand to part with your own work. If you have BH, then all you can do is buy more gray shelves and hope science develops a cure. Keep boxing and keep posting.

That is a beautiful bunch of boxes. I really like the Celtic knot boxes. Now as for boxism. Sorry, there is no cure. I have it and really don’t want one. I do a test cut(s) for 45’s and do a glue up, now it holds rubber bands. I shorten the top of a box. Glue up and now it holds pencils. Even my scrap becomes boxes! I even have a touch of Boxumadeum Hoardimust. Every box I make I cringe when I deliver it! Hoping they won’t pay so I can keep it. Have fun and keep boxing!

You are not only afflicted with “boxism” but you seem to have contracted carveitis as well.
The results of your “sicknesses” are beautiful. Luckily, there is no cure.

prolific that for sure, wonderful boxes, it looks like you cannot cure this easily so just keep going – and sharing!
