I gave this bowl to the lady who gave Candy the monster silver maple tree chunks. Punky as hell so I added plenty of epoxy to support it as I turned it. Six coats of lacquer and out the door. Julie fell in love with it when I took it to her.

Turned out great. That spalted maple is a treasure , only you have to play with it awhile. Whenever I get some I can’t seem to stay away from it till its gone. Again nice turning.
