Cottage Deck

Project by Daniel9879 posted 393 days ago 828 views 1 time favorited 7 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This was a project at the family cottage over several weekends. The wood is locally sourced Ontario cedar. These pictures actually aren’t the completely finished product but as I’m only allowed to upload 3 pictures, these are some of the better angles. Got some more pictures up on Photobucket.com. Still looking for finished pictures, I think they’re on another computer. (You can see the post caps are still missing in these)

Daniel, that looks great. I would like to see the other pics if you could post them on a host website like webshots or photobucket.

Nice looking deck!

Not sure how he did it, but Les was able to post more than 3 pics in this project: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/10771

Maybe someone can enlighten us amateurs! :)

WOW, look at all the extra lumber used to get the deck boards going across. That will last for ever.

Haha, thanks Odie. We decided that we wanted the deck boards going out from the cottage so we did what we had to do. I’m pretty happy with the result.
