If you’re going to build an end grain board, you may as well build 2 (or 14) just so you can here that distinctive clank they make when you stack one on top of the other….....

New job has really been challenging so I try to sneak in an hour or two of shop time in the evening to unwind…..

These are all the product of just gluing some boards together and see what you get….......some hit the mark better than others…....but all end grain…

Mostly just stuff from the scrap bin, plus a bunch of re-purposed flooring…...

Maple, Walnut, Yellowheart, Rosewood, Mahogany, Tigerwood, Cherry, Hickory, Ipe, and likely a few I forgot….

Here’s a few more:

Been selling a few of these, plus a couple will go out as gifts…....

Thanks for looking…..

I don’t know who cranks out the most product .. you or Monte.
Really nice stuff, Jeff. Some day I may try that

Awesome Jeff. The one with the two yellow arrows I have no words for. I want to do more end grain stuff but I will need to watch your video a few more times to be convinced that it is as simple as you say.

Gary – there is no contest – Monte wins. The deal is he never sleeps….I don’t know what it is, but I still need to sleep….and you should try building one (I mean two!)..

Bill, you’re already in the club so you KNOW how easy they are to build! Go for it!

Gscz – they’re easy – give it it a try!

I know Dennie. I made a small one and it took a long time. I need to copy some of Jeff’s jigs and clamping apparati.

Hey, Jeff,
Great boards…the wood colors and your imaginative patterns … always come up with something cool.
You can put me down for the one in the third picture in the upper group.

Hey Marty…...there is way more time spent with a blank stare, then there is building by a long shot!

John, still waiting for you to stop by… can take #3 home with you…......

Thanks Monte!

Gorgeous, Jeff! The 4th pic with the ‘leaf’ pattern is my favorite of this bunch,...I think.

A very nice collection. And true, once you get it down you can crank them out – But Jeepers…...

Well done, my friend! You certainly made good use of the scrap bin. Christmas presents—check!

Awesome scrap pile.
I wish my “trial & error” efforts looked 1/2 as good!!!

My first cutting board (end grain at that), is progressing along….
ALL due to your inspiration!!! Thanks….

I gotta go do a LITTLE sanding….
