This is a cedar box with a inlaid, intarsia lady bug. The lady bug is made from jatoba and wenge with brass dots. The leaf is made of 2 pieces of oak dyed with a alcohol dye.

Great job on intarsia. Beautiful work on the cedar.

Loving that box, dude :) But hey, for Gawd’s sake, next time you want to include green wood in a project (in small quantities), gimme a shoot out so we can talk about green spalted wood! It looks WAY better and you have the skills and talent to honor the real thing!

Thanks guys. Sodabowski, I sent you a message about the wood. I’ll have more leaves in some upcoming projects and am always on the look out for other colors as well.
