END TABLES AND TV STAND FOR THE COLLEGE STUDENT

Project by sarge posted 389 days ago 491 views 1 time favorited 6 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Well, here is the latest project out of the garage shop. These we made from native red oak with minwax red oak stain and poly. Two end table 18”x24”x24” the TV stand is 20”x48”x24”. It’s all pocket hole construction. To top it all off we used an opaque solid surface to protect the tops through these college years. It’s cool stuff, it buffs out smooth so you can see the suspended pieces of glass inside it. The imporant thing is she loves them. These babies were built to last the many moves she has ahead of her.

Man, that stain looks sensational. I like the straightforward design, too.

Sarge -

Very nice work! I like the wood choice & finish. I am a big fan of pocket screws. Are you using the Kreg Jig?

Thanks again for your service to our country!

Best Regards,
David
