Was hired to make this wooden plaque as a gift from this guys wife. He requested that the wood be ELM (as it is his and his wifes initials). Engraved on the plaque are the GPS coordinates of where they met and the inscription “Where it all began”. I finished the plaque with amber shellac as to provide contrast between the letters and the wood. I forgot to get a pic after the shellac was applied but it really made the letters pop out.
