Here is a kitchen, china cabinet and railings that I just built for my mom and dad. All the cabinet doors are raised panel walnut. There is about 450 bf of walnut used for everything. Cabinet interiors are pre finished birch plywood, soft close doors and drawers, Wilsonart HD laminate countertops that I also built, pull out garbage/recycle, 2 lower lazy susans, 2 upper lazy susans, pantry beside fridge with pullouts. I made all the crown on my shaper and tiled all the backsplash as well. I also fully renovated the rest of the main floor with new doors, trim, paint, moved walls and put about 4000 screws into the floor to kill the squeaks before the new flooring went in. A lot of work but they are happy.

Very little in life approaches the joy one feels in being able to repay your parents in some small way. You’re a good son Jesse and a wonderful woodworker. It looks beautiful

What outstanding work! You are blessed to be able to make these for your parents and they are truly blessed to have you for a son.

I really like how you did the countertop corners. Is that a rounded edge on the countertop?

Jesse I know this post has been on for a while but I’ve been scrolling through some older ones. I love your work on the cabinets. Doesn’t appear you took any short cuts. I’m about to begin a kitchen project like this and I hope mine turns out as good as yours did. Thanks for sharing.
