I’ve just started teaching my cousin to turn wood on the lathe and this was his first project. It’s a bowl and lid made from a scrap piece of walnut we had lying around. It was sanded through to 1500, buffed with the Beall Wood Buff System (jeweler’s rouge, white diamond, and carnauba wax), and then finished off with Howard’s Conditioner, just for good measure.
