This is a drill press cabinet i built last week. Because I am a high school shop teacher and knowing the ever changing needs and demands of my shop, I decided to make the storage infinitely adjustable. The 2 forstner bit racks were laser engraved to make them easier to see. I plan on adding additional trays to hold stand and metric twist drill and a set of brad point bits as well as countersinks. An nice added feature is that each shelf or tray can be removed and taken to the place of work, then returned fro safe storage at the end of the class period.

Great idea. I really like this design. The only problem I have is that now I want a laser engraver!

I want one too , I can use one at the Tech Shop here in San Jose but they are Very Popular machins so it is had to be able to schedule time on them. They have 3 but could use another one since you can only reserve them for 2 hours at a time.

Have your say...
