I found the perfect use for the last load of wood on my lumber run. Making a couple heirloom rocking horses for friends and family. There is nothing better than making a project and seeing the surprise when they get it. My inspirational photo was courtesy of Google Images and printed it out in color for inspiration. I used a laser plotter printer to increase it to the actual size of 24×36. Then simply spray adhesive it down to some luan and I will use it as a pattern for future gifts. I will be making a Walnut version and a Cherry version. Giving these first ones away will make all my efforts great.
