Here is another “before & After” photo of a fireplace for another customer. It’s out of oak.
Now if you’ll excuse me…...i have to go talk to the man who lives in the garbage can.

Chad, that mantle addition is great and made a wonderful difference to your fireplace. Thanks for posting.

That is a pretty dramatic difference. great project, thanks for posting it, makes me wish I had a fireplace so I could make one too. It is nice to see you have a sense of humor also.

Nice job. Would you mind explaining the process you used to create the base on each side. More specifically, is that a solid block of oak with a cove, or is that trim applied. You give the illusion that it is one solid piece. Nice job again.
