This is a scroll saw project I made for my wife. Its a little hard to read in this photo but it says “I am the light of the world”. The frame is oak around purpleheart, the background is birch plywood, the center picture is cut from a piece of sassafras, and the four small pics are maple.

-- Of all the varieties of wood I have used, I would have to say my favorite is FREE. Brian
