”Dancing in the Wind”
This carving is 18 inches tall and carved out of a walnut burl.I discovered some surprises in grain and defects which add interest. I hope I have captured the joy of a young girl dancing in the wind.

I certainly would not have the courage to do this beautiful piece – what if the grain broke when I put on the finishing touches ?? My nerve just does not go there.
