A cane I made out of Walnut with just hand tools based on the teaching of Paul Sellers and his Woodworking Masterclass. This is the third cane I have made, this one has the best twist to date. The previous ones didn’t come out as nice.

I made this one for my father in law who just had double knee replacement.

Very nice cane the twist came out beautiful and the handle has a comfortable look to it. What size stock did you start with for the walnut?

It started as 1” thick. The final dimensions ended up about 7/8” thick in one direction and it tapers from about 1-3/8” at the top to 7/8” at the bottom. SO the bottom is 7/8” round and kind of oval at the top.
