This paddle was ordered by someone in my hometown – which means I was actually able to meet my customer for the first time because she picked it up in person! She ordered it to give as an anniversary gift to her husband, who is a “rabid homebrewer”.
This is basically a duplicate of a paddle I made about four months ago for a friend. It features three of Maryland’s most recognizable icons in the paddle area – The “Natty Boh Guy”, a Maryland Crab and the O’s logo.
The wording in the handle and the Natty Boh Dude were carved with my CNC Router and finished by hand.
The crab and the O’s Logo was cut using my scroll saw.
Wood is solid, 1” thick Ash and finish is food-grade mineral oil.
