Made these for last Christmas gifts. Since wife does stained glass I had her cut me some wavy clear colored glass to give them the old time look. I used a piece of all thread to hang them on the wrought iron I welded up. No two are a like. The finales are cast iron pieces I cut the square mounting section off with a hack saw then drilled and tapped the hole 5/16” threads to accept the all thread. I used some atomic clock movements so they would auto set for day light savings times since I installed a screwed on back and they wouldn’t have to be taking the back off so often. Some faces I cut the numbers out with a scroll saw, some I glued store bought numbers on, and some I cut the numbers out with the scroll saw then glued them on. I never like to make the exact same thing twice.
I used biscuits in each joint.

Nice work! That’s a heck of a Christmas gift, I’m sure they enjoy them.
