I just finished Bruce’s Nativity for my Aunt’s 96th Birthday. I’ve done this one three times and changed up the colors on each. I used Red Elm, Aromatic Red Cedar, Mahogany, Walnut, Yellowheart, Butternut, and Blue Pine.

You have this medium well under control.
I like your attention to detail as with the grain direction.
Wondering what final finish you put on these projects??

I use Min-Wax Poly Satin Spray. Min-Wax has UV protectant so the wood colors don’t darken over time.
