I made a feather board to use on my table saw. It was a drag to clamp it on every time so I decided to ad a magnet. The magnet is glued to the top backing board with epoxy. The third picture shows how I can conveniently store it on the side of my saw when not in use.

What a great idea! I have a magnet or two around, guess I’ll have to use your idea if you don’t mind. Also, anything that stores out of sight, yet handy, is fantastic. Thanks for posting this.
