Sounds and looks like it's gonna work just fine! If you make something more than 24 inches you will probably have a few innovations to add at that time?

I bet you get a lot of good use from it.
I need to make another one. My old sled is about worn out.

That ought to do a great job! Let us know how you like using it compared to using your Incra 1000se. The last few years I find myself using my Incra instead of my sled, so I'd be interested in your experiences. Thanks for posting.

I built mine using the same design and it has served me well. The holddowns make it a LOT safer cutting short pieces!

Ye Ha! Randy you are going to love this sled and wonder why/how you ever got along without one. Eagle Lake Woodworking super sled design is a very good choice when building one of these. You have done well. Congrats!
