Great job! I built my first Air Force shadow box over the past few weeks and boy was that a learning experience! I can't quite tell from the pictures, but one thing a fellow wood worker suggested for a little extra 'pop' is to chamfer the inside edges. What did you use for the blue fabric?

I guess it is pretty hard to see from the picture the top piece just has a 45° chamfered around all the edges the main shadowbox has a 45° on the outside and a round over on the inside. For the back of the project I did a foam backing attached with spray glue to Felt fabric.

That looks great! I have been using felt for mine as well. I have not seen any foam backing, but I will have to look into that. I have been using hardboard and gluing the fabric to that. Again, very nice job!

I take hard board, glue some foam core board you can get in the craft stores to that then glue the fabric to that… makes pushing the pins in really easy
