Buggy Bowl

When I got into this piece of wood and saw how buggy it was, I was tempted to just toss it into the fire pit.

It started out as a 7-inch bowl that I decided to use as a practice piece … it wound up about 4-inches in diameter. If there was anything still living in the wood, the microwave oven got them before I applied 4 coats of gloss poly.

Like the look! Glad you kept it and are showing it off! Just had a friend do a cutting board that had several “holes” in it and it too looked cool. Made me wonder what turning some wood like that would look like. Thanks for letting me know!
