This was inspired by a tray I saw at Silver Dollar City that was cherry. This is smaller, but I added the dished out area and got the handles at habitat for humanity. It’s live edge and measures 18” x 10”. I’ve got plans to make more and bigger ones. The piece of walnut was milled by my friend Andy when I visited his place this summer. I brought the logs with me that I harvested 10 years after a tornado brought the tree down. Thanks for looking.

Very nice board Bill. Glad you kept that strip of sapwood. I didn’t remember that ‘quilting’ when we cut that. Pretty!

Bill, love the clean lines of the hardware juxtaposing the live edge! (I hope that means what I think it does) Thanks for sharing.

Very nice tray, Bill.
Isn’t it wondrous what a nice board can do for a set of handles?
Dishing it was a great idea.
