Looks great.
How do you clean it do you take the scoop out and wash it or do you just wipe it clean after the scooping is done. What is your finish is it water proof I guess that’s my question?

The finish is waterproof. But there is still places where water could get in. I used some mineral oil on the tenon where there was no finish. I just wipe it down with warm soapy water.

Nice design, looks robust enough to handle any scoop of ice cream.
Nice work
