Rustic modern cherry cubes

Last month I was getting a oak log milled & there was this cherry log sitting there. They said it had “hardware” in it, meaning metal. It had been edged on 2 sides before they quit. I bought it for 20.00 & got these 2 pieces, 3 more @ 16” or so & a 36” pedestal. I’m really liking the rustic modern cubes, & so do the customers. These weigh 70 lbs each, so the shipping is higher than usual. & these are really cool, they are a little more too. 400.00 for the pair, for starters, free shipping for the lower 48. & yes these are just logs too. I was doing some market research & there is one lady out there that gets 1200.00 for similar pieces (1)! & on almost all the similar pieces out there, flat places on the top corners from a flat sander can be seen…. even on the 1200.00 piece.
