All the fun things I get to make come from scraps and typically don’t have the option of being planned out. This little box is no exception, it was made with the tools I had with me and zero measuring involved. This was made for a proof of concept, but I think I will actually make one now out of better materials. This would have been a lot easier with a table saw and drill press.

This is stolen from Matthias as he came up with it years ago. I had a jig saw, router, cordless drill, staple gun and glue with me.

I need something like that to keep meds where little hands can’t find them.

Thanks, I hope at least people can look at some of these things and think “I could do that”.
I’m resourceful but I need someone else to have the initial inspiration.

The hinges are made from some scrap oak trim and my chopsticks from takeout.
