This box includes a little bit of one of my other favorite things. It started out as a just a test lid because I was trying to figure a way to include the buckle in a way that didn’t make it look like a buckle glued to a piece of wood. Walnut with maple and a little piece of chechen for the buckle to sit on. It turned out pretty good so I finished it off. I wanted to make the cut out the same shape as the buckle but I had a hard time getting a perfect shape for a template. Finished with semi gloss Arm R Seal. My photo skills need work. These are iphone pics.
