I made this basket a little while ago and it turned out perfect as a Thanksgiving present to our friends that invited us for dinner on monday which is our Canadian Thanksgiving .
Just thought I show and post it here and wish all Canadians a happy Thanksgiving .
The basket is made from plantation teak and steam bent and fitted with leather ribbon and walnut handles .
My dear wife did the decorating and I think she did a wonderful job putting a harvest scene together to compliment the basket .

Nice harvest basket, Klaus… has a good country flavor. Kudos to the Mrs on her part in rounding out the look.

Beautiful basket, Klaus! Would you explain how the handles are attached and how you secured the leather? Thanks for sharing. Your wife’s choice of decor is spot on!
