Project Information

I made this basket a little while ago and it turned out perfect as a Thanksgiving present to our friends that invited us for dinner on monday which is our Canadian Thanksgiving .
Just thought I show and post it here and wish all Canadians a happy Thanksgiving .
The basket is made from plantation teak and steam bent and fitted with leather ribbon and walnut handles .
My dear wife did the decorating and I think she did a wonderful job putting a harvest scene together to compliment the basket .

Beautiful basket, Klaus! Would you explain how the handles are attached and how you secured the leather? Thanks for sharing. Your wife's choice of decor is spot on!
