Simple Wood Boxes

October, 2014—Small boxes made of hardwood. Tools used include table saw, power miter saw, router, palm sander, drill press. Decided to give the band saw a rest. :-)

Joinery includes splines or keys on the corners. Fish are painted wood that came from a thrift store find. Finish is multiple coats of water-based gloss poly, brushed on. Last photo shows a tissue box for scale only.
