This set was delivered over a month ago but I just haven’t had time to post pictures. It’s solid cherry raised panels with Poplar frame inside the dresser.

The pictures don’t do justice to the size of these pieces. The stock was a fat 5/4 leaving true 1 inch thick lumber after machining. No sense in planning just to plane so I used it as it was. The dresser alone weighs #100 without the drawers!

I still lacked some drawer handles in the pictures but you get the idea. It is finished with several coats of 2 pound cut clear shellac and good ol Johnson’s paste wax. When the crib becomes too small, it converts to the headboard and footboard of a full size bed.

This is a whole lot more of a project than I would tackle at one time, Well done for all the attention to detail…

Great design and build! You’ve created an heirloom.
