Too many scraps accumulating in my workshop so I built another chest out of pine and cherry. Didn’t think this would be a great combination but it worked, and used up some of my scraps. Put some bins in iit to be filled with a bottle of wine and chocolates for a silent auction for charity. The big padlock is a reproduction I bought from amazon. Handles are a bit beefy, bu it matches the padlock.

Great looking chest. Nice job on the handles, and the lock fits in well.

I also think it’s a gr8 looking chest. A very nice way to use up those scraps and cutoffs.
