I made this as a gift for my friends in New Mexico. Mahogany with a Poplar lid.
the inlay is InLace turquoise. Black felt bottom liner.

Very nice box and the colors go great!
I like the touch of the stone gives the box that extra something!!!

Very appropriate design for the southwest. I like it. The turquoise is an especially nice touch!

thank you folks..as for the Inlace, the only real issue is the dust from the sanding..a mask is imperative and lots of ventilation when mixing and applying..
