Did some practice pieces first. but this is my first piece on an actual rifle. It was a free 30-06 so I will just keep practicing on it

Looks great and practice and patience carving are the key words.

I love that basket stamp pattern! Pretty unusual on a stock.

Very nice—interesting alternative to checkering, and I like the basket weave motif.

Thanx everybody for the kind words . I use a turbo carver. I want to try knives & chisles. till then its on with the turbo carver
