Beautiful design.
I think the unfinished mantel looks more appealling. It looks more natural. I’m not saying you failed to apply appropriate finish. Maybe the light efect that make me to see that way.

I agree with Woodworm…. the finished mantel looks nice, but it’s gorgeous unfinished.

On behalf of Chad “the Big Chopperoo” Stanton, he would sincerely like to thank everyone who views and comments on his work. He encourages everyone to feel free to express themselves both positive and negatively. Chad believes in freedom of speech and does not believe in censorship.
