That is a gorgeous carving. The detail and shading is well done. As a non-carver I have always admired the abilities of those to whom this skill has been gifted.

I’ve noticed a theme of horses in a few projects. Is this another interest of yours? Nice carving. I’d like to try it some day but basic cabinet construction is first on my list to learn. thanks for the post.
