Neat call. When you say striker, do you hit it on something to use it?Jim

no its only part of a call the other part is called the pot which has a piece in it made of materials such as glass or slate that you rub the tip of the striker on and it produces a sound similar to a turkey

Good looking striker. I have made hundreds of them and the only thing I might do is make the peg a little longer. Shorter pegs don’t vibrate as much and can deaden the call. But then again I make some shorter strikers, too.
