Turned pens...sorta...

Well not really much turning involved… lets call these fabricated pens…

I’ve wanted to make some Bullet Pens for a while as I knew these would be a hit for Christmas gifts to my hunter and law enforcement friends.

An article came out in last month’s Woodturning Design which laid out the basics of making a pen out of two bullet casings. I knew some custom tubing would be required but I was glad to have the article available for reference, I definitely would have wasted a lot of time to trial and error.

I still have a few to make for gifts that are 2 bullets, but I will probably try combination bullet pen with wood shaft here soon.
