Good morning,

I added a couple pics of my oak box. The hinge is a basic pin style. I used a 3/16” brass rod and the washers are new copper pennies. I added an oak plug to hide the pin. I lined the box bottom with felt.

Looks good. You did a really nice job. Did you put a finish on it? I like the profile. Can’t tell if you used splines.. Again, nice job
