well, this is a story of need for light and using a cool piece of walnut to accomplish it, i made a strange lamp for the side of my bed, i had a light bar with a toggle switch and i needed that, my old lamp dies on me and it had a toggle switch i had attached to my headboard, the part of the headboard i have is a cedar log next to me and i attached the toggle switch right where my hand could reach, so i made this lamp, i had a cool piece of walnut that actually looked like a tree to me, so i made the small end pieces to hold the bar in place and there ya go, a walnut tree light…it is very bright, and the light that comes from the side is all i need to be able to read at night…i’ve had this light bar for some time without a use for it…but now i do, and its a great light that blends in with my wood filled bedroom…thanks for any comments…grizzman

Sort of like one of those scrap pieces of cutoff wood that has been in the shop forever until one day the perfect use for it comes around. Very nice…
