It’s been a long dry spell for my posting, so I thought I would start off with a BANG. I have my traveling work shop set up in Moscow now and work is getting underway. Copper foil wrap the wheels, elevation is controlled by the threaded hand crank. I had turned the barrel at home but I do have a lathe here. I’ve got a couple things on the bench and a few carvings getting ready for Christmas.

A great looking cannon, I have been wanting to do one of these for the longest time, you have inspired me to get moving again, I will favorite it to keep reminding me.

You’re making a lot of noise about a small-ish cannon BUT as myth busters say “as long as we get a BANG”.

Very nicely done Doug, even using some of your carving skills, well done sir….

That BANG is in my head for years long. And you may inspire me to bring it forward. Well done, Doug.
