These are two hickory display cabinets I built for a client. The size for each is 26” x 12” x 60” with tapered legs. The finish has 8 coats of wipe on poly. They have 3 adjustable shelves in each.

Thanks for looking

Great Job! Hickory is one of my favorite woods to work with! I LOVE the smell of it! The door gaps look perfect and I like the small taper at the bottom of the legs.
Very Nice work indeed. I also like the way that the color of the door runs into the color of the frame at the top right.. Very pleasent to look at !

Are the plywood mix of colors typical or did you have to hand-select the plywood sheets? I’m considering hickory for a kitchen but not sure what a lumber yard or hardwood supplier would have locally, or even what they’d call the grade. What letter/number grades would you order? I’m considering brown maple or unsorted maple too. I don’t know if I’d be able to choose through what they have or not.

I appreciate how you “went with the chaos” and allowed the natural grain pattern of the hickory to define the project. Nice looking build.

matermark, The plywood is grade two I believe. I special ordered it through Menards. We are fortunate can get hickory at our saw mills here in central Ohio. It is my favorite wood. I know a few people who made their kitchens out of it and they look awesome.
