My Second Bowl

This stave bowl is my second attempt at bowl making. The sides are walnut and poplar and the bottom is burl walnut.

At first, I thought it was a drum. Probably could be made into one. That walnut on the sides is really red. Was it air dried? Good job on the bowl.

The wood on the sides came from an old piece of furniture

Mea culpa. Mip was correct, the sides are not walnut, they are cherry. The top rim and bottom are walnut.
