I made 3 of these cradles for our 3 granddaughters. They are made from 3/4” pine and finished with clear poly. I had to make a finger/box joint jig for my router to start. They are about 10” wide x 22” long. Like all my projects I first design them, to scale, on the computer. The only fasteners are 2 screws securing the bottoms.

OOOOO compound angle finger joints, nice job. The jig probably took longer to build than the cradles themselves lol

Nice, simple, and cute. Nice work and they will love them.

Hi Grampsrichard,

My dad is 86 and his grandaughter picked your beautiful doll cradle as the kind of cradle she would like him to make for his first great granddaughter who is coming in August. Is there any way you would share your plans for this cradle with him? He is not computer savvy but I am and am trying to help him in anyway I can. I appreciate your consideration. Connie (Smellycat)
