One of the ladies at work was having a miserable day. Boy do I get that! Still, she tries her durndest to keep the whole team in high spirits. For example, she brought us all a candy bar recently and said we were worth a million bucks.
I ate the candy bar today and got an idea. I hope she gets to feeling better by knowing she too is worth a million bucks.
Made from scrap length of Baltic birch, discarded hardboard, the last squeezings from titebond 2 bottle, the residue of a tung oil bottle, a paper towel used to dry my hands earlier this week and left in the bin, the hard plastic container packaging my circular saw guide came in and of course the fine art candy wrapper. I sanded with used 80 grit and 220 grit discs. I couldn’t find a used 150 grit piece. ;). Don’t tell her this is all garbage because I used some new pin nails to speed this project up.
1.5 hours start to finish. The glue was not even dry. I had to knock it out fast because I’m on a conference call with work while monitoring progress on my pc. I’m thrilled I could knock this out and it looks good. I have to go.
-- Thanks for all the lessons!
