This is another toy from my Granddaughter’s collection she has stored in what I call, (Fort Knox).

This was done in 1995.

She still has everything I’ve ever made for her.

This is a great woodturning project, & a fun toy to play with.

I even like playing with it.

I wish I could remember where I got the plan for it.

It may come to me someday, but you should be able to copy this one from my pictures.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This image shows it with the string, that winds around the wider grooved section of the top.
You wind the string around it between the two beads in the large upper body of the top.
Hi there,
Nice top, but a question, where do you wind the string around? The main body then you hold it in place with the stick and pull it?
Thanks,
David.
Thank You kenn.
Thank you, Pinkfish, I just typed an explanation on the lower image.
I hope I explained it alright, if not give me a holler.
Hi Matt,
You have a “little one”, just right for this toy project.
