My daughter wanted the Build a Bear clothing Armoire. The BAB version is made of plastic and cardboard, and was kind of pricey. I told her we would build one together that would last her forever and materials would be way cheeper. She picked out the colors and did all the painting, with some assistance from dad. We built it out of birch plywood. It was a lot of fun to have her in the shop with me assisting. All the dimensions were based off one of her cardboard hangers they give you when you buy an outfit for your BAB. She even had a pink box tray saved from something else for the top shelf. This is a fun easy project to get your daughters or sons into woodworking.

That’s a beautiful little Armoire and opening your shop to share your time with your daughter is by far, a greater gift than opening your wallet at Toys-R-Us.
Kudos to you Dad, for a lasting memory.

I can tell that you would like to keep that ember glowing so I’ll pass along an excellent site for you to share with her.
