These trophies were presented at the 2014 United States Women's Disc Golf Championship this past weekend, as my donation to support women in the sport (my daughter plays).

I made a total of 64 in all. The large ones were first place in each division and a basket-only trophy was for second and third place.

Tupelo Trophy did the amazing logo laser and metal plate work for me. The artwork was created by artist John Dorn. Notice the woman’s hair is a disc golf course!

The project took three intensive weeks of labor. The chains were attached with 18-gauge staples with my nail gun. The oak discs were made on my homemade circle cutting jig. Stain and three coats of poly finished the project.

The event gave a shout-out to Lumberjocks in the caddie book and as a hole sponsor. The last photo is one of me and 3-time World Champion Nate Doss.

Any disc golfers out there looking to create these for your tournament, PM me and I’ll send you the dimensions and parts list.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice job Randy. I am sure that your daughter and the women that received them was delighted with your trophies and the dedication of your time and skill to make them.
