I needed a quick project to finish to feel like I’ve accomplished something. So after sorting through my scrap stock I decided to make this handy mallet. It has a Walnut head and Cherry handle, I put a walnut pin at the end of the handle because a crack had developed. Finished with a little paste wax.

That’s a nice tool and will be a great addition to your shop.

That’s one thing I’ve never built …yet…..Always thought I would if I had the time, but some customer projects keep me at bay on the mallet…..It’s a hard choice to pick a mallet from, cause there are so many on LJs to choose from to copy…...Don’t really need a mallet…I just want to make one…...to see if I can…..
